Corporate Employee Discounts FAQs

Verizon Wireless offers discounts to employees of companies that have an agreement with Verizon Wireless. Find out if you're eligible to save on data plans and accessories.

Getting an employee discount

  1. Am I eligible to get an employee discount?

    To be eligible for the employee discount you must:

    • Be the Verizon Wireless Account Owner or the Account Manager
      • Note: An Account Manager's eligibility can be applied to 1 account that's not in the Account Manager's name.
    • Be employed by a company or corporation that has a discount agreement with us.
    • Be on a qualifying Verizon Wireless plan. 
  2. How do I know if my company has an agreement with Verizon Wireless and I can get a discount?

    Your company should let you know if you're eligible for a Verizon Wireless discount. Or check your eligibility by entering your work email address on Verizon's discount program page.

    After registering, if you're:

    • Eligible - You see a confirmation that lists your discount amounts.
    • Not eligible - You can check with your company for more information.

  3. What data plan discounts can I get?

    After registering with our discount program, you may be eligible to get the employee discounts below. Which discounts and the discount amount depends on your company’s agreement with us.

    Data plan discounts:

    Keep in mind:

    • Discounts are deducted from your account's monthly account-level access fees.
    • Discounts don't apply to line access fees.

    These plans aren't eligible for discounts through this program:

    • Unlimited consumer data plans (e.g., Get More Unlimited, Do More Unlimited, Play More Unlimited, Start Unlimited, Above Unlimited, etc.)
    • Prepaid plans, already discounted plans and promotional plans

    If your plan isn't eligible for the employee discount, you can switch to 1 of our current plans.

  4. What accessory discounts can I get?

    When you're registered for an employee discount, you may be able to get discounts on eligible accessories when you buy them through your My Verizon account (online or with the My Verizon app). Your discount is applied at checkout.

    Important: The accessory discount is not available when you buy the accessory in a retail store, on the phone through telesales or Customer Service or through a bill pay kiosk.

    Discount eligible accessories are:

    • Cases
    • Holsters
    • Screen protectors
    • Chargers / Car chargers
    • Mono headsets (Bluetooth and wired)

    These are not eligible for discounts through this program:

    • Waterproof cases (Lifeproof and Atlas cases)
    • Smart Accessories
    • Apple branded products
    • Portable power (mophie products, Motorola Power Pacts, etc.)
    • Memory cards
    • Cables
    • Stereo headphones (Bluetooth and wired, headphones and buds)
    • Other / Home solutions
    • Mounts and Docks
    • Keyboards (Bluetooth and folios)
  5. How do I sign up for the employee discount?

    If you're eligible for a Verizon Wireless discount, you must register on our Discounts by Verizon program page.

    Note: Validating your discount doesn't extend your wireless service contract. It just ensures you get the discount currently available under your organization's agreement with us.

  6. I'm retiring. Can I still get an employee discount or keep the one I have now?

    Whether or not you can get or keep a discount as a retiree depends on the agreement your company has with us. Check with your company or contact us to find out. You can also try registering with our program to see if you're still eligible for a discount through your company.
