Manage Account Settings - My Verizon app

Note Notes:

  • Ensure your app is up to date as the following steps apply to the most recent version.
  • The My Verizon app is only available for Android® devices running 4.0 or higher and Apple® iOS devices running 10.0 or higher. For all other devices, visit verizonwireless.com to sign in and manage your account.
  • Changes to these items may take up to 15 minutes to appear on your account.
  • Available settings vary based on user type (e.g., Account Owner, Account Manager, Account Member).

Edit User ID

  1. From the Home screen tap the My Verizon app or navigate: Apps > My Verizon.
  2. Tap the Menu icon Menu icon (upper-left) then tap Account.
  3. Tap Account Settings.
  4. From the Profile tab, tap Edit User ID.
  5. From the 'Create a unique User ID' screen, tap Edit (at the bottom).
    Note This User ID is used to sign into My Verizon.
  6. Tap the User ID field to enter the desired ID then tap Update (at the bottom).
  7. Tap the Back icon Back arrow (upper-left) to return to 'Account Settings' or press the Home button to exit.

Manage profile

  1. From the Home screen tap the My Verizon app or navigate: Apps > My Verizon.
  2. Tap the Menu icon Menu icon (upper-left) then tap Account.
  3. Tap Account Settings.
  4. From the Profile tab, tap Manage profile.
  5. From the 'Tell us about yourself' screen, tap Edit (at the bottom).
  6. Tap any of the following fields to make changes then tap Update (at the bottom):
    • Greeting name
    • Email
    • Alternate contact number
  7. Tap the Back icon Back arrow (upper-left) to return to 'Account Settings' or press the Home button to exit.

Manage addresses

  1. From the Home screen tap the My Verizon app or navigate: Apps > My Verizon.
  2. Tap the Menu icon Menu icon (upper-left) then tap Account.
  3. Tap Account Settings.
  4. From the Profile tab, tap Manage addresses.
  5. From the 'Tell us where to find you' screen, tap Edit (at the bottom; may require scrolling).
  6. Tap any of the following fields to make changes then tap Update (at the bottom):
    • Billing address
      • Billing address
      • Billing address2(optional)
      • City
      • State
      • ZIP code
    • Service address
      Note If the Service address is the same as the Billing address, tap Same as billing address (selected when a check mark is present).
      • Service address
      • Service address2(optional)
      • City
      • State
      • ZIP code
  7. Tap the Back icon Back arrow (upper-left) to return to 'Account Settings' or press the Home button to exit.
