  • To disable update notifications, refer to App Update Notifications - Play Store.
  • To avoid data charges when updating apps, update over a Wi-Fi connection.
  • If 'Error 505' is received, the app being downloaded isn't optimized to the device. Contact the app developer.
  • For further assistance, refer to the Google Play Help Center.

 

  1. From the Play Store Home screen, tap the Menu icon Menu icon (located in the upper-left)
  2. Tap My apps & games.
  3. Tap individual installed apps to update or tap Update All to download all available updates.
    Note To auto update apps:
    1. From the Play Store Home screen, tap the Menu icon (located in the upper-left)
    2. Tap Settings.
    3. Tap Auto-update apps then select one of the following:
    • Do not auto-update apps
    • Auto-update apps at any time. Data charges may apply.
    • Auto-update apps over Wi-Fi only
  4. If presented, review App Permissions then tap Accept to proceed with app update.

  3. Enter the Apple ID and password then tap OK.
    Note The Apple ID is the email address associated with the account.
  4. Tap Updates (located in the lower-right).
    Note If an app update is available, a number may be present.
  5. If an update is available, tap Update All.
  6. If prompted, enter the Apple ID and password then tap OK.
