    5G Home Internet is the first 5G wireless network built to connect your home with ultra-fast internet that's ready for what comes next. With 5G Home Internet, there are no long-term contracts, equipment or installation fees and all taxes and fees are included.

    Availability is limited. Visit Verizon 5G Home Internet to enter your address and see if 5G Home Internet is available at your residence. If 5G Home Internet is not currently available in your area, you will be able to enter your email address and your phone number so that we can notify you when 5G Home Internet comes to your area.

    Here's what's included when you order 5G Home Internet:

  3. How fast is 5G compared to 4G LTE?

    5G internet is up to 20x faster than 4G LTE speeds.

  4. How do I check to see if 5G Home Internet is available in my area and how do I sign up for the service?

    5G Home Internet is currently available in limited areas of Los Angeles, CA; Sacramento, CA; Houston, TX; and Indianapolis, IN.

If 5G Home Internet is not currently available in your area you will be able to enter your email address and your phone number so that we can notify you when 5G Home Internet comes to your area.

    If you're an existing Verizon Wireless customer, you must be an account owner or account manager to order 5G Home Internet service. If you are new to Verizon, you will automatically be assigned as the account owner when you order 5G Home Internet service. Learn more about account roles.

  5. Can I have more than one line of 5G Home Internet service on my account?

    Yes, you can order 5G Home Internet service for multiple eligible addresses under the same account. However, you may have only one 5G Home Internet service installed per address.

  6. What internet speeds should I expect with 5G Home Internet?

    You should expect ultrafast internet speeds using the new 5G Home Internet service with typical speeds around 300 Mbps and, depending on your location, maximum speeds up to 940 Mbps.

  7. How much does 5G Home Internet cost?

    There's no charge for the first 3 months of the Verizon 5G Home Internet wireless internet service. Beginning the fourth month after the professional setup date of 5G Home Internet, the cost will depend on whether you have a Verizon smartphone data plan* on your account. Taxes, fees and surcharges are included in the 5G Home Internet charges.

    • $50 per month when you have a wireless smartphone data plan* on your account.
    • $70 per month when you have no wireless smartphone data plan on your account.

    When you have only 5G Home Internet with Verizon and sign up for a Verizon wireless smartphone data plan of $30 or more per month, you get $20 off your monthly 5G Home Internet service.

    When you have 5G Home Internet and a Verizon wireless smartphone data plan* and decide to cancel the data plan your 5G home Internet charges will increase $20 per month.

    When you have 5G Home Internet and a Verizon wireless smartphone data plan* with one smartphone, and decide to activate a non-smartphone on that line, leaving no smartphones on your account, your 5G Home Internet charges will increase $20 per month.

    When there is one smartphone plus 5G Home Internet on your account and the phone is disconnected or transferred to a different Verizon account, the 5G Home Internet monthly charge will increase $20 per month.

    *A minimum $30 monthly data plan is required; excludes data-only plans.

  8. Are there promotions or discounts available when I sign up for 5G Home Internet?

    Yes. There's no monthly charge for the first 3 months of the 5G Home Internet service.

    Also, you can get YouTube TV free for 3 months where it's available (new users only). After 3 months, if you don't cancel, YouTube will charge you the $49.99 monthly subscription fee using the form of payment you provide at the time you signed up for YouTube TV.

  9. Do I need a price plan when I order 5G Home Internet?

    Yes. When you order 5G Home Internet, the 5G Home Internet data-only plan will automatically be added to your account.

    The price plan you have on your account for your smartphones, tablets, watches and other devices will be separate and continue to be used only for the other devices on your account.

  10. Do I need to have a landline in order to get 5G Home Internet?

    No, a landline is not required in order to get 5G Home Internet at your residence.

  11. With 5G Home Internet is there a limit to the amount of data I can use?

    No. There is no data limit or data cap for 5G Home Internet service. The 5G Home Internet plan is a data-only plan, separate from other plans on your account. Any device connected to your 5G Home Internet Wi-Fi network will enjoy unlimited data usage.

  12. Is 5G Home Internet available to people who live in an apartment, condominium or townhome?

    Yes, however this depends on the specific location within the apartment or building where 5G Home Internet will be installed.

    To find out if 5G Home Internet is available, in your apartment, condominium or townhome, visit the 5G Home Internet website and enter your address. You'll be asked to select the floor on which your unit is located to determine if 5G Home Internet is available. If 5G Home Internet is not currently available in your area, you will be able to enter your email address and your phone number so that we can notify you when 5G Home Internet comes to your area.

  13. Will I be required to pay a security deposit for 5G Home Internet?

    No. There's no deposit or charge for the 5G Home Internet equipment that's installed in your home.

  14. Where will I see the charge on my bill for 5G Home Internet?

    The 5G Home Internet receiver will show with a unique line item and mobile number where all other devices on the account are listed on the bill. The first 3 months of the service are free, so you'll see a charge of $0.00 on the bill. A charge for the service will start after 3 months.

  15. How do I check the status of my 5G Home Internet order and what information do I need to check status?

    You can check the status of your order anytime online or with the My Verizon app.

    Go to the Order Status page and enter the 5G Home Internet order number and location code provided on the order confirmation email.

    1. Tap on the menu in the upper left.
    2. Tap Account.
    3. Tap Purchases.
    4. Tap Orders to view the status of your 5G Home Internet order and any other orders you may have.
  16. Will weather conditions, such as rain or wind, affect the 5G Home Internet service?

    In our testing, including rain and windy environments, there have been no indications of typical weather issues affecting 5G Home Internet service.

  17. Do I need to disconnect my current Wi-Fi internet service before 5G Home Internet is installed?

    No. You can continue to use your current Wi-Fi internet service provider until the 5G Home Internet service is installed at your home. Once 5G Home Internet is installed, we recommend that you cancel the other Wi-Fi internet service.

5G Home Internet Coverage

  1. Verizon 5G Home Internet is available in my area but not at my address. Why is this?

    The Verizon 5G Home Internet service requires a direct line of sight between our 5G cell site and your residence. Because of this, some residences on the same block may have the 5G Home Internet coverage, while others may not. We are working hard to expand our coverage in neighborhoods and in the cities we have already announced. However, at this time, we do not have a coverage map to share.
