Your account PIN is used to verify your identity when you contact Verizon by phone or Chat. For your security, customers are required to have a 4-digit account PIN, previously called billing password or billing system password. This helps ensure that your account and personal information remain secure.
If you forget your Account PIN you'll need to set up a new one. Learn how to set up a new account PIN. You must be the Account Owner to set up and change your account PIN. Other members on your account will not be notified when a PIN is created or changed. It is the Account Owners responsibility to share the PIN with any of your Account Managers who may need it.
We'll never proactively call you and ask for your account PIN.
