Michael Swearingen is a Verizon Wireless public relations specialist for the South Area. He writes about Verizon’s 4G LTE network, smartphones and apps, and the company’s community efforts. A native Floridian (and proud graduate of the University of Alabama), Michael worked in broadcast news for 10 years in Florida, Iowa and Alabama as a producer, reporter and anchor. He is based in Alpharetta, GA.
