    How do I swap devices with someone else on my account?

    You can swap devices quickly with another line on your account in My Verizon:

    1. Go to the Swap numbers page in My Verizon.

    2. Select the two devices you want to switch and tap Next. If the devices are not compatible for swapping we'll display the reason why.

    3. Update your plan, if applicable, and tap Confirm.

      Note: You will only see this if the features and plans are not compatible.

    4. Review your feature and plan changes and then tap Confirm Feature & Plan Changes.

    5. Follow the prompts to back up your contacts and media.
      • To Verizon Cloud
      • To your computer via iTunes or similar software.
    6. Tap Complete Activation.

    7. Turn off the devices. Tap Devices are Off.

    8. Tap Swap Devices.

    9. Tap Yes to confirm both devices are off and you are ready to swap them.

    10. Tap View Instructions for Activating Each Phone.

    11. To receive confirmation that the first phone has been reactivated, tap Send Me a Confirmation Text Message on My Device.

    12. Tap Reset Complete, Continue to Reset Device #2.

    13. Tap Reset Complete, Continue.

    How do I order a new SIM card?

    You can order a free SIM card while you're switching devices online, or if you want to receive it the same day, you can pick it up at a Verizon Wireless store nearby.

    To order a SIM card online:

    1. Go to the Request a new SIM card page.
    2. Tap Select Device beneath the device for which you're ordering the SIM card.
    3. Review the order and tap Check out.

    If you order it online, you can choose to receive it:

    • Next day by 10:30 AM
    • Next day by 8 PM
    • Two-day shipping (free)

    No. There is no charge for swapping two devices on your account.
