Verizon Up is a rewards program for Verizon Wireless customers that lets you earn rewards you really, really want—and enjoy exclusive member discounts, extras and perks.

General Information and Membership

  1. What is Verizon Up?

    Verizon Up is a rewards program for Verizon Wireless customers that lets you earn rewards you really, really want—from your go-to brands to the artists, sports and movies you obsess over. And, receive bonus rewards, extras, perks and local offers just for being a Verizon Up member.

  2. Who's eligible for Verizon Up?

    It's easy to enroll in Verizon Up:

    • Have a smartphone with an active Verizon Wireless account in good standing.
    • Be on a standard monthly plan, such as the unlimited plans, shared data plans or basic plans. Note: Business and prepaid accounts aren't eligible for Verizon Up at this time.
    • Be a resident of the US (excluding the territories of Guam, Puerto Rico and the Virgin Islands).
    • Download the My Verizon app from your smartphone's app store.
    • Be 18 or over.
  3. How do I enroll in Verizon Up?

    It's easy to enroll in Verizon Up:

    1. Log into the My Verizon app.
    2. Tap Verizon Up in the navigation menu in the upper left corner.
    3. Then follow the prompts.

    It's fast, free and easy to join.

    Note: Business and prepaid accounts aren't eligible for Verizon Up at this time.

  4. How does Verizon Up work?

    Once enrolled, every $300 you spend on your Verizon Wireless products and services on monthly bills (before fees and taxes) earns you a reward of your choice. It doesn't have to be all from one bill. The amount will add up over time.

    Rewards are redeemed using a credit*. One credit gets you one reward of your choice. Simple.

    And, receive bonus rewards, extras, perks and local offers just for being a Verizon Up member.

    *Credits expire 60 days after being added to your account.

  5. What type of rewards can I claim?

    There are 4 kinds of rewards available through Verizon Up.

    Earned Rewards:

    Every month, choose from 6 new reward options, carefully selected just for you. Earned Rewards could include Device Dollars toward your next device purchase, discounts on an accessory or partner rewards. You can claim 1 reward for 1 Verizon Up credit.

    Bonus Rewards:

    Bonus Rewards are member perks, surprise extras and discounts that you can get anytime, on top of the rewards you already earn. They're always waiting for you, always changing and available to all Verizon Up members. No credits are required.

    Local Offers:

    Local offers are discounts just for Verizon Up members. They are available every day in the app and can save you up to 50% at dining spots and activities near home or when traveling in North America. No credits are required.

    Super Tickets:

    These are your chance to get exclusive access to prime sporting events, shows, concerts, and live experiences. And you only need one credit. You'll see a ticket availability countdown on each Super Ticket.

    Once the countdown reaches zero, you can claim the tickets just like other rewards. Only a limited number of Super Tickets are available. It’s first-come, first-served, so get yours before they're gone.

  6. How do I find Verizon Up?

    Choose and manage your Verizon Up rewards in the My Verizon app.

    1. Open the app.
    2. Tap the 3-line navigation icon in the upper left corner of your device.
    3. Tap Verizon Up.

    If you can't find Verizon Up, then download or upgrade to the latest version of the My Verizon app:

  7. Do Verizon Up credits or rewards expire?

    Verizon Up credits expire after 60 days, and every reward has an expiration date.

    Read the reward details carefully so you know what it is.

Earning Credits

  1. How do I earn Verizon Up credits?

    Once enrolled, every $300 you spend on your Verizon Wireless products and services on monthly bills (before fees and taxes) earns you a credit*. This includes devices, accessories and other Verizon purchases if they're charged to your account. Our Bill to Account FAQs have more information on which purchases qualify.

    *Credits expire 60 days after being added to your account.

  2. When do I start earning credits and how long do I have to use them?

    You start earning towards Verizon Up credits with the first bill you pay after enrolling. If you don't reach $300 in one monthly bill cycle, the amount accumulates month by month until you reach $300.

    • One (1) credit is earned for each $300 spent.
    • Credits expire 60 days after they're added to your account.
    • You can have up to 10 credits in your Verizon Up account at any given time.
    • If you have 10 credits saved, you'll stop earning credits until you use one of them or one expires.

    *Credits expire 60 days after being added to your account.

  3. How do I track my credits and rewards?

    Track your Verizon Up credits in the My Verizon app.

    1. Tap the 3-line navigation menu icon in the top left of the My Verizon app.
    2. Select the Verizon Up tab in the navigation menu of the new My Verizon app.
    3. Tap Track to see your total number of credits associated with each bill payment.
    4. Tap Use now to spend a credit.
  4. How long before I can see my credits in the My Verizon app?

    Credits update within 72 hours after paying the bill that puts your accumulated total over $300.

Choosing Rewards

  1. How often do Earned Reward options change?

    Earned Reward options change on the first day of each month. There are six choices each month.

  2. How do I claim an Earned Reward or Bonus Reward?

    1. On the Choose tab, tap the reward you want.
    2. Tap Claim now.
    3. If you want to use it right away, tap View details.
    4. Then tap Use now.
    5. Otherwise, your reward will be saved on the Use tab.
  3. How do I claim and use a Local Offer?

    1. On the Choose tab, tap the Local Offers card.
    2. Search the available Local Offers by your location, merchant name (e.g. McDonald's) or offer type (e.g., pizza).
    3. Select the offer.
    4. Visit the merchant location to claim the offer.
    5. Tap Use now and show the merchant.
  4. How do I use a claimed reward?

    1. Go to the Use tab in Verizon Up and select the claimed reward you'd like to use.
    2. Tap the reward card from the Use tab to find the redemption instructions for that reward.
  5. Who can claim a reward? Who can use a reward?

    Only Account Owners or Account Managers can claim and use Earned Rewards or Super Tickets.

    All Account roles can claim and use Bonus Rewards.

  6. Why do I see a lock on one or more of my rewards?

    You will see a lock on Earned Rewards and Super Tickets if you're an Account Member. Account Members can see available Earned Rewards or Super Tickets, but only Account Managers or Account Owners can claim or use these rewards.

  7. Are Verizon Up credits and rewards transferable?

    No, credits and rewards are specific to each account and/or line.

  8. The reward I really wanted is no longer available. Where did it go?

    Earned Rewards refresh on the first of every month. Make sure to use your credits and claim your rewards as soon as you find something you like. Quantities are limited.

    Bonus Rewards refresh throughout the month when new rewards become available. Check the use-by date on each reward to claim and use them in time. Quantities are limited.

    Local Offers expire based on merchant and location participation. Local Offer availability may change daily.

  9. Why do I see different rewards from the last time I used Verizon Up?

    Earned rewards change on the first of every month, and may change more frequently based on availability.

    Bonus Rewards refresh throughout the month when new rewards become available. Check the use-by date on each reward to claim and use them in time. Quantities are limited.

    Local offer availability may change daily.

  10. Why did I lose one of my credits?

    Credits expire after 60 days. Once you earn a credit, you have 60 days to choose your reward.

  11. Why do I see rewards on the Choose tab, but can't claim them?

    You might not have enough credits available on your account, or you're an Account Member and don't have the ability to claim rewards.

    Only Account Managers or Account Owners can claim or use Earned Rewards or Super Tickets.

  12. Can I claim rewards over the phone, in a Verizon retail store, or on the website?

    No, rewards can only be claimed through the My Verizon app.

Using Rewards

  1. Why can't I access some rewards in the Use tab?

    It might be because of your account role. Only Account Owners and Account Managers can access all reward details from the Use tab.

    Account Members can only access their own Bonus Rewards.

  2. Why doesn't the Use now button work?

    If the Use now button is inactive, then the reward has already been used or you have Account Member status. Only Account Owners and Account Managers can use a reward.

  3. I marked a reward as used. How do I undo this?

    You can't. For some rewards, you may still be able to view the reward details, such as the expiration date, or how to use instructions. Just tap the card to view them.

  4. Why can't I see the code to use my reward?

    It might be because of your Account role. Only Account Owners and Account Managers can see codes to use a reward.

  5. I've changed my mind and no longer want the reward I chose. Can I change it?

    No. Once a reward is claimed, it can't be returned or exchanged.

  6. Why do I see rewards on my Use tab, but can't use them?

    It might be because of your Account role. Only Account Owners and Account Managers can use a reward.

  7. I tried to use a data reward but it didn't get added to my account. What do I do?

    Please contact Verizon Wireless Customer Service at (800) 922-0204.

Super Tickets

  1. When can I claim a Super Ticket?

    You can try to claim a Super Ticket when its countdown clock hits zero and the reward moves to the top of the Choose tab.

    Once a Super Ticket is available, use a credit to claim them like any other reward at the top of the Choose tab.

  2. How do I receive my Super Ticket?

    We'll email you 3 business days after the Super Ticket has been claimed.

  3. I thought I claimed Super Tickets but now they're all claimed. Can I still get them?

    Because Super Tickets are available on a first-come, first-served basis, they may be gone by the time you finish the claim process.

  4. Can I resell Super Tickets or other rewards I've claimed?

    No, we may cancel your Verizon Up membership if resale is suspected.

  5. I entered the wrong details when claiming my Super Tickets. What should I do?

    Please call Verizon Up Customer Service at (866) 895-5579.

Device Dollars

  1. What are Device Dollars?

    Device Dollars are rewards that can be claimed, saved over time and used on a smartphone, basic phone or tablet upgrade or new line of service when purchased on a monthly payment plan or at full retail price.

    Your Device Dollars expire 24 months after you claim them. However, once you've tapped on the card in the Use tab, you have 30 days to make your purchase.

  2. How do I use my Device Dollars?

    When you're ready to use your Device Dollars:

    1. Tap on the Device Dollars reward card in the Use tab of Up.
    2. Tap on the link in the reward detail view to receive a code. All the Device Dollars you have when you generate this code will be applied to one purchase.

    You have 30 days to complete your purchase using your code.

  3. How do I purchase a device with Device Dollars?

    You can purchase a device using Device Dollars with the My Verizon app, in a store or over the phone with a Sales rep.

    My Verizon app

    1. In the My Verizon app, tap Use now on the Device Dollars card to get a promo code/barcode for the combined amount.
    2. Copy the promo code and paste it on the online shopping page within 30 days. Otherwise you'll lose the reward.

    Device Dollar rewards must be applied at time of purchase.

    In a Verizon store

    Verizon Wireless sales reps can apply Device Dollars during your device purchase. Just tell your rep you have device dollars available that you want to apply. No need to use the My Verizon app for a code.

    At an Authorized Retailer

    1. Once you've selected a new device, open the My Verizon app and go to the Use tab of Verizon Up.
    2. Tap through your Device Dollar reward card and show the retailer the barcode on the reward card before completing your purchase.
    3. The device dollars will appear as a credit on your bill.*

      *May take 1-2 bill cycles for your credit to appear.
       

    Over the phone with a Sales rep

    1. Once you've selected a new device, open the My Verizon app and go to the Use tab of Verizon Up.
    2. Tap through your Device Dollar reward card to see the code and PIN on the reward card you'll need to provide to the telesales rep before completing your purchase. Visit our Contact Us page for more details.

    Redemption within Verizon Authorized Retailer locations is applied as a credit to the customer's account within 1-2 bill cycles.

  4. When do my Device Dollars expire?

    Your Device Dollars expire 24 months after you claim them. During the 24 months, once you decide to use your Device Dollars and receive a code, you have 30 days to use your Device Dollars.

  5. Why is the Device Dollars reward card locked?

    It might be because of your account role. You must be an Account Owner or Account Manager in order to view Device Upgrade Dollar rewards.
