Voicemail Service To Be Updated

Verizon Wireless is updating voicemail service for select customers through the end of 2017. If you've been notified of these changes, you'll need to set up a new voice mailbox in order to receive new voice messages. You will have received an e-mail and/or SMS with the date of your particular voicemail update. To learn more about setting up your new voicemail service and accessing your older stored messages, click on the date of your voicemail update below:


IMPORTANT: Airtime, long distance, roaming charges and taxes apply when setting up your Voicemail or retrieving messages from your wireless phone. Voice Mailboxes not initialized within 45 days will be canceled. Your Verizon Wireless Voice Mailbox is not password-protected until you create a password by following the set-up instructions provided on this page. Verizon Wireless is not liable for missed Voicemails, or deletions of Voicemails from your Voice Mailbox, even if you saved them. Please note that depending on your location, you may have to temporarily turn off Call Forwarding to be able to access your Voice Mailbox.

Verizon Wireless is beginning a national Voicemail update on Sep 30, 2016. In order to take advantage of the update and to continue receiving new messages, you'll need to set up a new Voice Mailbox on or about Sep 30, 2016. The information below provides instructions on how to set up your new Voicemail service and how to save your stored messages.

How to Set Up Your New Voicemail Service:

  1. Call *86 from your mobile phone.
  2. Press # to interrupt the greeting.
  3. Follow the setup prompts to create a new password and greeting.

You've successfully set up your new Voicemail service.

Note: After the update is complete, you won't be able to reply to or forward your stored voice messages. Your stored messages will be deleted after 30 days.

How to Access Your Stored Voicemail Messages:

To listen to your stored messages:

  1. Call (760) 691-0990.
  2. When prompted, press # followed by your 10-digit mobile number.
  3. Press # to interrupt the greeting, then enter your Voice Mailbox password.

If you'd like to permanently save any of your stored voice messages, contact CBW Productions at cbwproductions.com or (800) 770-8046. This third-party vendor can save your Voicemail messages on an MP3, CD or memory stick.
