It's now easier than ever to check your upgrade eligibility and get the latest and greatest devices on the market. To get started, simply click on My Verizon from the main navigation, and sign in. If your device is paid off or out of contract, "Upgrade Eligible" will be noted in blue above your device. If you don't see a notification, just click on the device to see more details around the upgrade eligibility status. Then, click the red Upgrade Options button to begin the upgrade process.
Once you've satisfied any remaining device payments (if applicable), you can check out all the great phones and devices that are available. You can filter based on things like brand, features, operating system, or price. You can compare up to 4 at once, or click on any device for more information.
Once you've found the perfect fit for you, select any available options like color or memory size. Payment options are based on eligibility. You may have a choice of device payment, or fill retail price. There's also a 2-year contract option for tablets. Make your selection, then click Next Step.
Next you may be asked to confirm your pricing selection and then click Continue.
You may get a notification to either continue on, or choose to trade-in an old device and if eligible, could receive an account credit or a Verizon Electronic Gift Card. If you'd like to trade in an old device, just follow the prompts. If you don't see the option to trade-in here, no worries, you'll have the opportunity to trade-in from the shopping cart. Either way, next, you'll continue on to choose the device protection coverage that's right for you.
If you're not already one of Verizon's great Unlimited Plans, You'll then be given the option review your plan, or may be prompted to change your plan. To learn about other plans that are available, or to upgrade one of the Unlimited Plans to enjoy unlimited data, talk and text, click the plan options presented to you, or you can click to Keep your Plan. Make your plan selection and click Add plan to cart.
Your shopping cart will show the total cost for your purchase today, and what your monthly charges will be. If you need to make a change or revise any items in your cart, just use the link below each section. Then, enter any promo codes you may have and click checkout to continue or to checkout with PayPal, click here.
In order to complete your order, you'll need to review the checkout page. You'll first see your delivery options. You can choose to have your new device shipped to you, or if the service is available, you'll see an option to pick it up at a local store. If you select In-Store Pickup, you'll be prompted to complete a customer verification.
Once you've made your shipping or pickup selection, provide the required information. Next, review your payment and shipping information, and then click to validate.
Under the "Device Information" section, you'll see that we've assigned a phone number for your new device. If you'd like to change this number, click Edit. Select I want a new number to choose a different number than the one provided. Just select a new number from the drop down menu. You can also transfer a number from another carrier. You'll need to provide the existing mobile number, account number, pin, name of the account holder, and the billing address.
Once you've made your choice, review and agree to the Terms & Conditions, and customer agreement, and then click to Place Your Order.
You will also receive and email confirmation which you should save for your records. That's it - the simple, intuitive and quick way to upgrade to the latest device.
Make a Payment
You have several options when it comes to paying your monthly bill. Whether you use My Verizon, or your personal bank's website, this video will tell you what you need to know. Check out our Pay Bill FAQs for more information.
To make a one-time payment, select Bill from the My Verizon Navigation, then click Pay Bill.
At the top of the page, you'll see your bill summary, which includes your total amount due by the next payment date, your current charges and recent payments. Select the total amount due or enter another payment amount in the box provided.
You'll then select your payment method. If you've previously saved a payment method, you can choose to use that account. If you haven't saved your payment information, or would like to switch your payment method, options are provided in the Pay with a new Account section of the page. We recommend you use your checking account, but you can also choose ATM, Debit or Credit card, or a Verizon Wireless Gift Card, under More Payment Options.
Enter all of the required information. Your payment information will automatically be saved for future payments. If you don't want the new payment information to be saved, uncheck the box. Note that when you pay using your checking account, you can schedule your payment today or up to 14 days from today's date.
Once you've provided all required information, click Continue. Before submitting your payment, review the payment details. If you need to make any changes, click Edit Payment Details. If everything looks good, click Send Payment.
Another option is to submit your payments through your personal banking service provider's website. In order to do this, you'll need to be sure to include:
Your 14-digit Verizon account number (e.g., 123456789-12345), which can be found in the upper, left hand corner of the My Bill page within My Verizon.
You'll also need to provide the Verizon remittance address. This information can be found on either the remittance document portion of your paper bill or in My Verizon.
To locate this address in My Verizon, select View Bill from the My Verizon overview page, then click View bill PDF. Scroll down to the bottom of the bill to find the remittance document and address.
Whether you pay your bill with My Verizon, or your bank's website, it's easy to pay your Verizon bill online.
