Verizon Cloud - Windows® Phone - Install and Configure App

Note Notes:

  • On some devices, a memory card must be in the memory card slot of the device for Verizon Cloud to work.
  • Contacts are automatically restored to the device during the installation and configuration process.


  1. Swipe the screen left to display the Apps list.
    Note Alternatively, tap the right arrow (located in the lower-right, may require scrolling).
  2. Tap Store.
  3. Search for and select Verizon Cloud then tap install.
  4. If necessary, tap Accept (from the app permissions page).
  5. If presented, tap Open Verizon Cloud.
    Note Otherwise, from the home screen, swipe left and select Verizon Cloud from the app list.
  6. To continue, review the Terms and Conditions then tap next.

  7. Tap the desired option(s) to back up then tap next.
    Note Option selected when a check mark is present.
    Select Options
  8. The next screen advises the use of Wi-Fi to back up media. Tap next to begin backup.
    Select WiFi or Network
  9. To continue, review the Cloud instructional screen then tap the synchronize icon.
    Tap Backup
  10. If presented with "Just so you know..." screen, select from the following:
    • yes - to continue backing up over the mobile network
    • no - to stop back up and connect to Wi-Fi
      Select Yes or No
