How to Use Guide: Verizon Cloud

Verizon Cloud lets you save your important contacts, photos, videos, music and documents all in one place. Access your files from multiple devices including your mobile phone, tablet and computer, and easily transfer them to new compatible devices.

This guide contains instructions for using Verizon Cloud.

Get Verizon Cloud

You can sign up for Verizon Cloud online in My Verizon by adding it to one or more lines on your account. You'll be able to select which devices on your account will have Verizon Cloud and how much storage space you want.

Note: If you have Above Unlimited on your line, 500 GB of Verizon Cloud is included. You don’t need to sign up.

To sign up for Verizon Cloud:

    1. Go to the Verizon Cloud section of the Products & Apps page in My Verizon.

Note: If you're prompted to sign in, enter your My Verizon User ID and Password.

    2. From the Select Your Storage dropdown, choose a storage amount. This is the amount of space that will be available in your Verizon Cloud account to store pictures, videos, music and more.

Note: The displayed pricing information will change based on the storage amount you select.

    3. Click Get it now.

    4. Select which line(s) you want Verizon Cloud added to.

Note: You can only add Verizon Cloud to lines with compatible devices. If any of your devices aren't compatible with Verizon Cloud, they'll be listed here as "Not Compatible."

    5. Click Confirm Purchase.

    6. You can send a text message to your selected lines that contains a link to download the Verizon Cloud app. Check the box indicating you want to send the text message and click OK.

You've successfully added Verizon Cloud to a line on your account.

You can download the Verizon Cloud app onto compatible smartphones and tablets from the app store on your device or from a link below. Some Android® devices will come with the app preinstalled.

Upgrade

You must be the Account Owner or Account Manager to upgrade your Verizon Cloud storage.
