myPlan | Unlimited Welcome mobile phone plan FAQs

No. If you had Welcome Unlimited, your plan didn't become Unlimited Welcome. However, some things did change with your Welcome Unlimited plan on 5/18/23.

Here's what's changed:

• You can now add optional $10/month perks for entertainment, shopping, travel and more to your Welcome Unlimited plan. Exception: You can't add the 100 GB Mobile Hotspot perk. You can switch to Unlimited Welcome and add this perk.
  • Note: Your Welcome Unlimited plan may still also be eligible for limited time promotions (i.e., 6 months on us, of Disney+, Apple Music, and Apple Arcade or Google Play Pass). View your available offers in My Verizon.
• You can have Unlimited Ultimate, Unlimited Plus and Unlimited Welcome lines on your account along with Welcome Unlimited lines.

Note: Because Welcome Unlimited is no longer available to buy, when you change plans you can choose only Unlimited Ultimate, Unlimited Plus or Unlimited Welcome. You can have up to 12 phone lines on your account.

You can change to a current option in My Verizon anytime.

When you have Unlimited Ultimate, Unlimited Plus and/or Unlimited Welcome, you can also  keep these non-current mobile phone plans on your account if you already have them: Welcome Unlimited, 5G Get More, 5G Do More, 5G Play More, 5G Start Get More Unlimited, Do More Unlimited, Play More Unlimited, Above Unlimited, Beyond Unlimited, Go Unlimited.

These plans all count toward the total number of lines that determines your monthly cost. However, you can add $10/month perks only to lines with Unlimited Ultimate, Unlimited Plus, Unlimited Welcome and Welcome Unlimited.

No. Smartphones and basic phones can get this plan. You can also use your 4G device. However, you need a 5G-capable device to access our 5G networks.

With Unlimited Welcome, your phone gets 480p DVD-quality streaming when on Verizon 4G LTE or 5G. Or up to 720p when using our 5G Ultra Wideband network on a capable device.

For faster streaming you can:

• Buy HD Streaming. This $5/month per line option gives streaming quality of 1080p and higher on 5G and 4G LTE. Buy and activate in the My Verizon app.
• Choose Unlimited Plus, which includes streaming quality up to 4K Ultra High Definition when using 5G Ultra Wideband network on a capable device. Or up to 720p when on Verizon 5G or 4G LTE.
• Choose Unlimited Ultimate, which includes streaming quality up to 4K Ultra High Definition when using 5G Ultra Wideband network on a capable device. Or up to 1080p when on Verizon 5G or 4G LTE.

With Unlimited Welcome, along with optional value-saving plan perks, you may be eligible for:

• $10/line per month discount for using Auto Pay and paper-free billing.*

To start using subscription perks (e.g., Disney Bundle, Netflix & Max [With Ads], Walmart+ Membership, etc.) you must activate with the subscription service. You’ll start the activation process in My Verizon after you’re enrolled in the perk.

All perks are recurring until you cancel.

Billing for each $10/month perk starts when you get the perk. Here's what happens when you cancel a perk during the monthly billing period:

• Disney Bundle, Netlfix & Max (With Ads), Walmart+ Membership - You lose access to the service on the last day of the perk's subscription period. The $10/month charge is not prorated.
• 100 GB Mobile Hotspot - You can use the perk until the end of the billing period, then the perk cancels. The $10/month charge is not prorated.
• Apple One, Apple Music Family - You lose access to the services the day you cancel the perk. The $10/month charge is prorated and shows on your next bill.
• Smartwatch Data & Safety - You lose your smartwatch data plan and Get Help Professional Monitoring discounts. Get Help - Professional Monitoring will be canceled and you lose access the day you cancel the Smartwatch Data & Safety Perk. The $10/month charge is prorated and shows on your next bill. Your smartwatch data plan continues for $10/month (plus taxes and fees) until you cancel it separately.
• +play Monthly Credit - The credit expires one month from the date it was added. The $10/month charge is not prorated.
• 3 TravelPass Days - Credits and TravelPass days expire at the end of the 12 month period. The $10/month charge is not prorated.
• 2 TB Cloud Storage - Your data immediately becomes unavailable. Before canceling, you're responsible for downloading any data you want to save. The $10/month charge is prorated and shows on your next bill.

All perks are recurring until you cancel them. You can change, cancel and add or re-add perks in My Verizon.
