Activate an Update - Family Locator

Caution Family Locator transitions to Verizon Smart Family™ effective 1/24/19. Refer to these FAQs for more info.

Note Notes:

  • Ensure the Family Locator member app has been installed on the locatee device before performing these steps.
  • Only the Account Owner or an Account Manager with full online access can perform these steps.

 

  1. From a computer, visit Family Safeguards & Controls.
  2. Click View Details & Edit (located on the right in the Family Locator section).
  3. Click Locate Your Family.
    Click Locate Your Family
  4. From the Updates tab, click Activate (located next to the family member).
  5. Click Activate.
